Our goal at Hau'ula Community Park is to provide fun quality programs for both kids and adults to learn and have fun while maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

You may come in to our office and pick up an application, fill it out, and bring it back, or you can click on the PDF file provided here, print it out, fill it in, and bring it to us at the park. *Ask to speak with Kanamu Tollefsen.
Rec Aide applicants must have 2 years experience working with kids.
Student Aide 2 applicants must have 15+ credits
Student Aide 3 applicants must have 15+ credits and worked with City and County of Honolulu before.

Hau‘ula Summer Fun

Registration is $25.00 (Waivers from DHS for qualified applicants will be accepted)
Activity Fees $
All fees are non-refundable after the start of the program.
Finale Theme 2020
Registration is held at Hau‘ula Community Park. After the registration period listed above, registration will continue until we reach our capacity of 125. Children must be registered before attending Summer Fun. If a child is registered on a summer fun day they will start on the following day.
Area Rules, Regulations and Information:
Children must have completed kindergarten in 2019-20 School Year. Children must be signed out in office if leaving before 2 pm by a legal guardian or someone on emergency list
Any child detrimental to the program will be dismissed with parental notification.
Non-Marking footwear to be used at all times, especially on excursions. No gum chewing at summer fun. Uku checks will be done periodically, child must not have live bugs or eggs. No cellphones, kids that need to call will be allowed to use office phone. No bike riding or skateboarding while at summer fun. Children will not be able to share lunches unless it is with siblings. Includes but are not limited to skate boards, mopeds, razors/rip sticks, wave boards, heelys, cell phones, ipods, ipads, tablets, or other electronic devices.
**Students should not be at the park or in the parking lot unsupervised before 8 am. If we notice this being a concern we will call parents to make other arrangements. Staff will be responsible for your child from 8 am-2:30 pm. Program releases at 2 pm. If your child is walking home please put that on registration form so that senior leaders are aware that no one is picking your child up. The program will not be responsible for any missing items.
